Realizan jornada de atención y rescate de animales tras avenida torrencial en Montebello

En respuesta a las dolorosas consecuencias de los eventos naturales que afectaron al tranquilo municipio de Montebello, particularmente a la vereda Zarcitos, El Departamento de Policía Antioquia, a través de la Seccional de Carabineros y Protección Ambiental, desplegaron una jornada de atención enfocada en el bienestar de los animales más vulnerables y desamparados en medio de la tragedia.

La jornada, llevada a cabo además por el Grupo de Guías y la Policía Ambiental, incluyó procedimientos esenciales para la salud y recuperación de los animales. Estos procedimientos abarcaban desparasitación, administración de vitaminas y limpieza reconfortante. En total, se atendieron 6 caninos en la vereda Zarcitos, 3 gatos en el refugio local y 2 cerdos en la misma zona afectada.
Las autoridades informaron que los animales rescatados durante el desastre natural fueron reunidos con sus dueños, un actor clave en este propósito fue la oficina UMATA del municipio de Montebello.
